Alfalfa is difficult to kill with RU. Been there, tried that. I use Weedmaster, though I should probably use P + D for the residual effect. Some of your problem alfalfa may be fresh seedlings. Try replanting that ground back into alfalfa. Then volunteer alfalfa will not be a problem. ;~)
