The longer the antenna cable, the more power lose (signal lose) you will have. Shortening the cable will help some. I do not know what kind of cable Deere uses. A high grade cable like LMR400 will help. Having the proper tools to replace cable ends is a must. If they are not installed right, you will not be happy.
