Montgomery City, MO | If I am thinking right there are 4.22 lbs of ACTUAL N per gallon. So when inputing the flow meter number divide by 4.22 for your initial cal number. For example my flow cal number is 740, so I input 175. You will be viewing #n/acre verses gal/acre, however it will still say gal/acre. Since you can't really calibrate NH3 by measuring flow from a nozzle I run a couple of tanks then compare actual weight to what the ezboom says. My initial cal number was 175, but after a few tanks I have it at 169 because I was geting more actual than I was reading. I have only ran about 350 acres with a ez500/ ezboom but I am pleased with it at this point. There are a few things you have to work around but all in all it works well. Post additional questions if I can help. | |
