Just wondering about a "legal" situation- who has the rights regarding running a manure hose in a road ditch? For example, if a manure guy wanted to run from point A to B, but field C was in between, is it his right to run the hose in the ditch of C? I would think he'd have to make sure not to impede access, meaning the hose would have to go through a culvert under any driveway. I would think the ditch is in the roadway right of way, so the hose can be laid there, but just wondering if any one has covered this before, and what the law in Iowa might say. | |
