I noticed the same thing at times. I made the Aggressiveness, Angle/turn, And free play as high as possible, then I slowed the motor down to medium. This seemed to make it stay on the line better but when it did correct with the slower setting it didn't overshoot the line and get the oscillations. Also dragging my hand on the wheel seemed to help when it got bad.
