| The AS7500 is a different product to the AS4080. The AS7500 is built on a different hardware platform to improve the User Interface and also adds more compatibility for interface to rate controllers.
As you mentioned it has CANbus, Serial & Voltage interfaces so can interface to almost all rate controllers on the market.
The AS7500 increases the number of sections for voltage up to 13 (30for data interface) where the previous product could only do 8 and only had a voltage interface.
The AS7500 is smaller, easier to mount, has a better user interface, more compatibility and most importantly the price has been reduced to $1950 US
