| Prefer to round them here. In good standing wheat laying over is not much of a problem. Keeps combines full - with grain cart(s), hardly ever stop, and cleaning up corners takes far less time than turning out every corner. Feel the lost capacity from not being full cleaning up corners (not much area/bushels left anyway) is better than cleaning combine out every 1/4 round.
Have also (on square 1/4's) cut path to center and started from there out. Works ok for grain cart to keep up better, but then you end up with 4 - 3 cornered patches at the end, which seems to take away that advantage also. | |
