South-central Nebraska | Last summer brother and I toured the CaseIH combine plant in GI NE. Very up to date and much improved from when it was only Hew Holland years ago. I toured it as NH in the early 90's. They are currently producing about 17 combines per day, a couple New Hollands the rest Case IH, 7-8 of the 2577/88 series and 6-7 7010/8010. A couple a weeks ago toured the Agco combine facility in Hesston KS. They are producing the MF, Gleaner and Challenger at a rate of 3 per day. Also a very nice facility, just not as big. | |
