Subject: Re: 7810, 7820, or other

We have a 2wd 4555, a 8100mfwd and a 7820 mfwd. The 78 and 81 are pretty darn close on performance, a little advantage to 81. The 78 has a world of more lift capacity than the 81, therefore we use it on the 7820 on the kmc 6row flex digger and the 8100 on the 6 row amadus combine. My opinion the 7820 due to the larger frame is a much superior tractor to the 7810. If at all possible find one with IVT or powershift to get the command arm with the electronic scv's, money well spent. Ours is a quad and we really wish it had the command arm (guess we are spoiled to the 8100).
