Steele County, MN | looking for a cheaper handheld for area calculation, and some distant roading. How inportant is the electronic compass, is it necessary? How bout internal memory and how much? Would like to download to computer for safe keeping of info. Been comparing different units on Garmin site but don't know which way I should go on selection. Did do some reading up and the archives but still wondering
