Subject: In my 20 X30 shop

North End I-15
I have a 10' radiant tube heater and a 45000 BTU over head blower type furnace. The ceiling is only 10' so when I have a vehicle in there with plastic on the top , I shut off the radiant . when not in the shop I run the radiant and shut off the overhead air heater . Radiant Keeps the tools and steel top bench warm to the touch . Sort of the best of both for my situation . The new 16' side wall 40 X38' addition on the front of old shop has no heat yet. Am pondering the same type set up . A radiant for warm heat always and the overhead for fast recovery or times when equipment with plastic cabs are in the shop. No floor heat as cement was poured in 84 where the new shop addition is.
