It appears that that site has had some problems lately and is running slow with short pages. Your post is about 4 pages back now. I skimmed the names on the posts and I didn't see Dr. Allis or tbran respond to any posts lately, and they are the most knowlegable about the later AC's.
Greg's solution would work, however I'm not sure if the pump would de-stroke properly when the joystick was in the neutral position. This could cause the system to constantly run against the high pressure relief valve whenever the console lever is tied back, resulting in higher oil temps and undue wear on the system.
