Switched from the 40 cell sweetcorn setup to the E-sets and have loved them. Switched to the bullseye seed tube at the same time and think that might have made the biggest difference. Picket fence with E-set, no difference with 30 cell to 40 cell. 40 cell did let me plant varied seed size though. Agree that competition made Deere make some improvements.
