Subject: RE: A&L grain carts

Southwest Illinois
A&L was on the verge of bankruptcy or in bankruptcy when Sunflower purchased tham. AGCO bought Sunflower and I think the whole cart line was dropped. We had a F705 which I just sold this winter. They are a good cart, but when AGCO gets involved in parts, especially a product that is dropped, parts availability is zero. We were concered that we might eventually need parts(most are common except the gear box and bearing housing at the fold) and knowing AGCO's history we sold the cart and ordered a J&M. For flighting I would think most folks who do mill wright work for farm/elevator set ups should be able to reflight it.
