NE Mo | What has everyone who has purchased a pickup in the last few years done to make it easier to reach tools in the bed? We just replaced a 2001 F150 with a 2008 F150. The top of the bed is 5" + higher than the old truck, but he bed is deeper. I can't reach the floor standing beside the truck, and I am over 6' tall. Looking at all the major brands, they all seem to have higher sides on them. Difficult to understand the Mfg's making larger cargo space on them, when we don't haul shelled corn in them anymore.
