Subject: RE: Previous post JD 515 drill

NW Washington
Grain drills are not a hot topic here as most posters are some how involved with corn and soybeans and planters are favored over drills even for soybeans. Or they use a no-till drill to plant soybeans or wheat behind soybeans.
I am no authority, but I don't know what a model 515 drill looks like. I am guessing that it is a mounted drill, but as far as drills go most are pretty much the same as far as the opener, boxes and feed meters go and John Deere makes a good drill.
I don't think folks on here are avoiding you are being disrespectful. I just don't think this drill is common among the regular posters.
Now you have one answer, but still not much help.
