I remember that post as it was a reply to a post of mine. I looked and could'nt find it. Seems you mount a dial indacator to the end of the shaft and rotate it around the inner face of the "hat" . If its out of alignment then loosen the bolts (keep them snug) and move the hat with a hammer in the direction that is needed. Mine needed no realignment. Best I can do from memory.
