Subject: 3pt spinner spreaders- Kuhn, Bogballe, or ???

Anybody have a preference for spinner spreaders?  Looking at throwing on DAP and AS around 300lb/acre at low speeds (2-5mph, depending on conditions).  A local dealer is recommending a Kuhn-

(I'm considering an MDS 935 with ~1800lb base capacity or maybe the AXIS 30.1 with ~2400lbs base cap), but the Bogballe spreaders have an interesting option for ton bagged fertilizer- a hydraulic arm that also mounts to the 3pt so you can easily load your bags with the same tractor. http://www.bogballe.com/gb/products/bm1250.html

What's an effective max distance to throw DAP or AS?   Specs on some of these spreaders say over 100ft!l

Also, what're some efficient ways to field-load 1ton bags?  It seems a waste to have a tractor there just to load bags when it could be out spreading, too, but I don't have a boom truck.  That Bogballe arm looks like a sweet rig to save a tractor.
