The 512 wheels are in front of the shanks and have a walking tandem, this gives you much better depth control because your wheels are not riding up over big lumps you just ripped out, with the wheels closer to the hitch it follows around the corners better, the self-leveling hitch is much stronger and the disk gang angle is changed just a little, this is because the 510 had trouble throwing dirt to far out and then the back gang has to try to pull it back in. The key for these to work right is speed you need to be able to pull it fast enough to get the dirt moving.
