midwest | I have to go to Souix City IA. to pick up a trailer, I am from MN. Question is, how do I do this legally on farm plates crossing the border? Is there something simple, like a day permit. One of the trucks I have, the License has lapsed, can I just Lic. it under 26,000lbs. and should be alright, then I could go anywhere? I think all the rules state that anything under 26,000 is OK, but hey what do I know! Just looking for a legal way of doing things if possible. | |
