Western CO

Stan,

I think we've emailed a couple of times in the past -- I farm about 6-7 miles SE of your uncle Wilbur's place here (I would have replied earlier but I've been a bit under the weather the last few days.). Yes I'd say things have changed for him, I think he has a new 9770 combine on the way. He's having a sale next week to clean up some old machinery the way it looks. There is a Big Bud on the sale for those those that are interested this Schreiber Farm Sale should be a link to the sale bill.  I'm sort of surprised they were still running the 95 in '79, I think we had a 6600 then -- we moved up from an IHC 151 to the 6600 in '75.  I can still remember my grandad saying "How are you ever going to hear what is going on with the machine in that cab?!!"  Somehow I think he'd have a smile on his face now -- we are running a red combine again and he'd be amazed at the capacity of the machines now.

 Gary
