There use to be some talk of "brown spraying " corn (spraying after tasseling) with 2,4d. Main problem that I see would be "green snap" if a strong wind would come up shortly after spraying. Other problem is finding a sprayer which booms will get up over the corn & the horseweeds, as to be effective the 2-4D needs to be sprayed on the tops of the weed.
