Just the opposite. Aphids can multiply rapidly in cool/wet conditions. They don't like heat/dry. I suspect the dry, hot weather has suppressed their populations. None around WCIL yet this year. BTW spider mites like the hot/dry. We had to spray for spider mites last year around here.
