we had our 3 or 4 years now, I love them. A couple years ago you had to watch what you got for replacement meters, if they were clear or white the sun would play havoc on the monitor, they gave me a free updated one and I wrapped a rag on the white one then it works fine. The metering unit should be black, if not that might be your problem?
