south east SD | Had the same trouble and went to a ground driven pump. Have NEVER had trouble with our "little thumper" ground driven pump from Demco. I am not a fan of Demco products (wagon sprayers) but this pump works great!! Best money I ever spent. I forgot to add that I put down 8 gallons an acre and the pump is set at around 4 on a setting that goes up to 12 on a 12 row planter. I think it could do a 16 row easy.
