I think McCartman is right about the CDF but the rotor we have from precision farm parts or the sunnybrook would outperform the standard rotor in anything. I think the original rotor is a poor design and an inclosed rotor with staggared bars is far superior to the original no matter what crop you are doing....just my opinion though, it is tough to spend that extra money to switch over but we are glad we did and most others I have talked to feel the same.
