Newfane NY
If the weather is good we will plant wheat, if the beans come off by say Oct. 10th. We will plant wheat for the first time in 5 years as I need to get back to a better rotation. The ground will be disked and field cultivated once or what ever it takes to make a nice seedbed. If the ground is to wet I will spread rye and Deep Till for next spring corn. Should be replanting the first field of snap beans Thur or Fri. Our first 80 acres went 5.98 tons/ acre with a 5.55 ton/ acre paid yield. We are very happy and so is the processer. John PS In the spring "here" most of our rotation plans go out the window by May 10th as we never know if we will be wet or dry.
