Subject: The Heat Dome

Seneca Kansas 66538
Well I think this Dome is going to take care of it, no chances for significant rains, 96-100 degrees, 40% < humidity, and blowing winds. Beans are rolling and corn keeps firing higher up. I am going to put guess's on corn at 40-60 bushels/acre and beans only time will tell. Brother works at a local crop insurance place and a farmer 40 miles south with good bottom ground, corn was adjusted at 2 bushel/acre. NE KS. Talked to a farmer that had just came up from OK yesterday and he said everything is rolling from there to here. I know it will be ok, just reporting whats it looks like in this area.
