NW Washington | Sounds like it has problems getting enough fuel from the bottom half of the tank. Where is the fuel pump? If it is not in the fuel tank a new one would not be very expensive. Or how about adding an electric fuel pump. Even replacing an in tank pump should not be too bad on this truck. Easier than a pickup anyway.
I have a problem understanding what the carburetor has to do with the bottom half of the fuel tank if it works ok on the top half. Sounds like you need another mechanic to me. | |
