| just adding: but over watering and underwatering and out side temps and plant stage on and on and on all play a major factor. over watering can be as devistating as underwatering.
if i'm reading this litature from UCmg in california corn needs 25-28 in. a season, per plant.
they use a Tensiometer as well as airromater to judge the amount of water needed. so different areas in a field need different amounts of water at different intervuls to get the water where it needs to be ,at the roots and not below or above or run off. | |
