Subject: Alfotoxin in corn

We had a hot and very dry summer here and the crop insurance adjuster told me to look for Alfotoxin in my corn and if I find a sample the insurance will pay better. Would the more droughter places like along the woods or on whiter ground be more susceptable to this toxin or will the whole field have it all the way across. I expect a corn yield of less than 70 bushel. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with this. We had it a couple years back, but had no insurance and had to mix it in with some better corn. We need a test of over 20 parts to receive additional yield benefit. thanks in advance/ bob
