Lots of alfalfa seed use to be flown on aroung here. Everyone has quit though. We have a local custom operator that will custom drill for $10.50 per acre. With the price of seed now it's a no brainer. My drill is only a 13' and I have parked it. Makes more sence for me to keep my help and equipment on other jobs. I have considered building a custom planter on the back of my roller harrow, but getting the proper depth concerns me. | |
