Some corn was shelled last week in the Mississippi bottoms south of St. Louis. I expect one BTO in Madison county (NE of St. Louis) to start today. Dry weather and high heat really hammered corn.
I tested some corn in southern St. Clair county (ESE of St. Louis) last Thursday: 28.4% 51.4# No rain and high heat....
