Subject: corn filling grain

Bardstown,KY
Well the bumper crop we had got the cream taken off last week with the high heat .When the shuck starts to brown is the ear done.I have 2-3 leaves below the ear still green overall some has lost the ear leaf on the banks and the ear is dropped.Just 5 days of heat really set it back ,i'd say my average ear has 16 rounds 35-45 kernals long but not as deep as it should be will it fill out or give up if the shucks are turning brown. Not really that dry like last year was but the week at 100 took it out of it.
