Subject: Lake Ontario

Ed I am 3 miles south of Lake Ontario.........no wonder you do not stop and see me you are looking by the wrong lake...lol Started planting B56v on 4-27. That is a great corn for us. It was our first corn to give us a field average of over 200 bpa. Then plant B-60f-B-58,which may get more acres next year. Also tried some B-42HxLL. That will get more acres next year. Got some B-28 and B-60q on trial. 60q may be too long for us. Then go with B-19,B-18cl and B-17v. Finished this year on 5-22. Last 3 years have been early springs "here". We are happy to start by May 10th and finish June 15th. Have planted B-03 and B09v. Will plant them after June 5th next year. Nice corn for the shorter season. Leon has some exciting things in the pipeline and I can not wait until he introduces them so I can use them. John
