Don't feel sorry for me. Drone works fine here. Drone would have to go up to about 7-10K' to be in any Chi commercial hi-altitude approach space over our farms. Not even sure there's enough battery to get up there. Probably nothing lower than 4K or so for any type of Chicago approach over IKK. Not sure which you were citing...genl av or commercial. The 5 sm barrier is impractical around most genl aviation uncontrolled airports. Drones don't belong near large commercial airports like ORD, MDW, or RFD.

I missed your response to my specific questions that I posed to you which would help explain your personal hands-on use of airport ops & your apparent denial to share airspace with anything.
