BarnyardAerials,
Keep in mind you need to be sensitive to music copyright laws. Generally, if you don't monetize your video/film and give the music credits in the description you MAY advert most trouble using a copyrighted pieces. However, I always advise to pay for a license (fee) to use - If you google the name and/or its composer etc. you can usually find a contact for licensing use. It's usually not a high price if you send them a well done edit which is not yet public (with a password so they can see it). Also, explain your purpose as NON monetized for YouTube or Vimeo for friends and family.

Nice work on your YouTube channel. Which editing program are you using? In many quality editing programs you can fix the lens distortion on the GoPro and flatten out the horizon and much of the internal distortion. Just saying - if you want to - not being critical - nice work also.

Thanks for the tip on contacting the licencing company via a google search. I never really thought about that as an option.

I have always downloaded the royalty free stuff, or like I said, paid for it on Pond5.com. I have never had an issue with copyrights on my channel.

Thank you for the compliments. My goal is to try and go with a video a week if not two for this up coming season. I want to add a camera on the ground and a better microphone to get those really deep, nice, grunty exhaust sounds hahah I use the adobe suite for all my editing. Primarily using Premiere Pro for 90% of the work, trying to get a little more acquainted with After Effects.
I know about the lens correction for the gopro, problem is, if your not shooting in 2.7K and above, you lose quite a bit of image quality. I should have an inspire1 for this season, so I'm hoping my aerials step up in quality slightly. I have also thought about converting the lens in my gopro, but its such an expensive route to take.

How have you liked flying the Inspire ? They are a great rig , eh ? I know a local guy sold his S1000 with a Panasonic GH4 to go with an Inspire. He does work for some major companies, IE Nike. So if its good enough for him, its good enough for me hhaha
