Not the problem, but you are starting up in reverse. When starting up - start the remote before the aircraft. When shutting down - turn off aircraft first - then the remote.
Try this - Will it fly POI ? Lets see if it will fly POI in F mode. If it won't fly POI either - it might give us some incite.
What firmware version are you running? Are you running the most recent FW package?
