O&U.....your one YT link gave me the most hope. Looks like a 5.4 lens for the GoPro will do the job. $189 according to the website. If so, that will be the absolute cheapest lens I own...period.

Dave....the softwares just seem to introduce other distortions. Some things just can't be fixed, though they can be changed. The narrower settings on the GP also do not affect the still photos, from what I know...unless I'm reading setup incorrectly. I value my still photos as much as my videos...maybe more.

So, I'll be looking into the lens change from these folks:

A 2nd GP silver might be a good idea in this case also. I'd think maybe the used ones are getting cheaper on ebay due to the new quads all seeming to use proprietary cameras now.

I'll post results later...if there are any results.
