Most are shooting for seeds per acre, tj, at least we are here. Pioneer only recommends 1.2 million seeds per acre so their wheats can use their strength of tillering. If you don't want tillering because of the different head heighths you see more like what you are using, 1.7-2.2 million seeds per acre, especially in later or adverse planting conditions.

Course no one can count a million wheat seeds.....

Best estimates of course....
