Unless something has changed with the Phantom 4, the sensors on the bottom only work within 30' or so of the ground.
If I remember correctly, Dronedeploy will fly several routes at varying altitudes and compare the differences in photos to determine elevations. I may be wrong on this since it was some time ago that I researched that capability.
