The best advice I would have with that is nothing you haven't though of already. If you had eyes on it as it fell, if you could remember exactly where you were flying when it fell, etc. I don't know a whole lot about the P2s, but if they have a flight log, it might be able to give you the last recorded GPS location, or at least the coordinates it last recorded.
