Altoona, WI | Get the app called Litchi. You register with them, create a flight path with your computer browser (can be done on phone or tablet too) and it will automatically upload to your phone. When ready to fly you open the app, choose the flight, and it will send it to the drone. The flight takes place autonomously at that point. You can even set points of interest and set how you want the camera to act in flight.
The neat part about this app is you are only limited to battery capacity. Since no connection is needed between the drone and controller, you can send it out beyond what you can do with the DJI app. Caution needs to be exercised when doing this because you cannot bring it down in the event of low flying aircraft unless you are within connection distance. If you are, you simply switch out of multi flight mode and control it manually. | |
