The app on the display keeps updating unless you force it not too. If it's an Android device, it also needs Google Play to work. I had my old phone as my display last winter. This spring I went to use it and no video. Seems the idiot software developers developed software past what my old phone was able to do. There is firmware for the drone, the controller, the battery, and the display(djigo). They can't ever keep anything simple anymore.

I gave up and am using my new phone and everything works as it is supposed to.

I save the same stupid problem with my 20/20 not talking to my iPad until I update it every spring. The stupid app for the pad keeps updating itself.
