They screwed up with this hybrid. It probably should have been put into an Asgrow bag; that's where the stick all the corn that has massive top end yield, but will sometimes fall over or not dry down, or something of the sort.

I don't recommend hybrids with a root rating of 6 from any company, including DeKalb, no matter how high the yield potential is. Most of the rest of DeKalb's line is as their ads say (as far as you can trust ads, that is); they do have some very aggressive root systems in their germplasm.
