Subject: Re: Storing corn vs beans

I have filled metal bins for 30 years with soybeans. I run the fan while filling the bin to help blow the dust out but as soon as the bin is full we shut the fan off and move to the next bin. Often we fill the bin is just a few hours with todays larger combines. I have never had a problem. I have not heard of this "sweat" problem before. I had heard that oats go through a "sweat" but not soybeans. Maybe I have just been lucky. Where can I get more information about this? We usually do the soybeans in late September or early October. I run the fan for a few days in December or Januarly when it is cold.
