IL. | cut my first crop milo this weekend, mositure was between 16 and 17 depended on which field had rain ran 59#test and about 120 bu.@ not bad for not much rain all summer, probably start corn next week, mine is still about 19 moisture but the corn is being harvested quite quickly around here yields are all over the board.
I wanted to get the milo off before starting corn and beans (group 3's are about clear of leaves) last yr. I waited till I cut my milo and it got a second growth when the rains started and the quailty went to hell.anyway have a safe harvest and good luck. Bob | |
