potassium thiosulfate (25% K2O, 17%S) has been introduced as a relatively low salt index form of K and S suitable for foliar applications and as a component of starters. Potassium nitrate (KNO3) solutions are also produced locally for foliar or fertigation treatments but are not shipped long distances because of their low analysis.
