You guys are probably thinking of the CVEC ethanol plant which is located in Benson, MN. They have just broke ground on gassification addition to the plant which is going to be a pilot project. It sounds like they are going use DDG's at first because it is plentiful and located right at the plant.

However, once everything is up and running correctly they are going to switch to such things as corn stover. The reasons are theat corn stover, etc. would be much cheaper and have much more energy value.

In other words, they were saying that it would not be ecconomically feasable to use DDG's as the only source for the plant.
