SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass!
Had one neighbor put in an automatic system last year. His beans went in the bin at 9-10% moisture. When he started hauling out in July they were running 12.5%. He had been pulling a few bushel out every 30 days so he was not surprised at the moisture. Bin is 33 ft.x9 rings. First three loads went out great. Beans quit running the fourth load. Looked in the bin and there was a cone shaped whole in the center and you could see down it clear to the auger. To make a long story short the re wetting had set the beans like concrete. It took two men in the bin and two on the safety ropes about three days to clean the bin out. Found out the bottom two rings were bulged and the drying floor was destroyed,
